Help to save and change lives in Syria

“Whoever removes a grief from a believer from amongst the sorrows of this life, Allah will remove a grief from him amongst the sorrows of the Day of Resurrection.” (Sahih Muslim)

$20 provides life-saving aid to one person

$200 provides life-saving aid to ten people

$600 provides life-saving aid to thirty people

Across Syria, an estimated 11.7 people are still in need of humanitarian support and 6.2 million are displaced within Syria.

Between 2011 and 2019 there were 492 attacks on healthcare facilities, and now Human Appeal’s hospital for women and children, which is a lifeline for thousands of Syrian people, is under attack.

Muslim Relief has funded the hospital, which is a paediatrics, gynaecology, maternity and children’s hospital, for the last five years. We have provided life-saving staff, training and medical equipment, helping thousands of patients.

Last year, we provided 16,500 medical procedures through the hospital and delivered the latest training to eight midwives, nurses and technicians. The hospital’s medical staff carried out 19,523 consultations on children, and 15,042 consultations on pregnant women and mothers. We also run a mobile healthcare facility from the hospital. In total, 43,456 people were helped through our healthcare support in western Aleppo last year.

All human beings have a right to access healthcare. 13.2 million people need health assistance in Syria right now but millions are going without life-sustaining medical care. We desperately need your help now to save the hospital.
